To audition, please complete this form. You will be contacted with specific audition times.
Audition requirements:
- any major scale, 2 octaves (we choose)
- chromatic scale in full range of instrument
- 1 work, movement or etude representative of your technical ability
- 1 work, movement or etude representing your lyrical ability
- sightreading may be asked
- percussion: snare rudiments, 1 or more scales on mallet instruments, timpani tuning and brief rudiments
- short interview with conductor and section manager
